Every aspect of this house has personally been designed and overseen by a dedicated team of architects, craftsmen and an interior designer, giving you the ultimate comfort in a warm contemporary setting.

The heating and energy needs for this portmagee guest house were designed and provided by an Irish based heating consultancy firm. We are a first on our field to provide your heating and hot water by both solar and geothermal under floor heating. Every room in Portmagee Heights can be heat adjusted separately by you. Our motto is to provide you with comfortable peaceful relaxation at an affordable price.

The theme for Portmagee Heights is "natural and comtemporary" and we the owners are specific in our request to keep it environmentally friendly and as true to the area as possible. Therefore we have incorporated native Valentia Slate as our theme running throughout the house.

Just ten minutes drive off the Ring of Kerry, Portmagee is a small fishing village on the South West Coast of Ireland. It is also where the boats depart for the Skellig Islands.

Where other places have developed uncontrolled Portmagee has remained uncommercialised and natural retaining its old charm that attracts thousands while incorporating all that's needed for a modern lifestyle.

Portmagee is probably the best base for touring Kerry and lies within reach of every concieveable amenity.

There are two pubs, two restaurants, a coffee shop, post office and souvenir shops in the village.
